Here’s everything I know about this synth — I purchased it on reverb about a year ago. The listing stated that the device was powered up with the wrong power supply and it died. The seller then sent it to a tech friend who did more damage than help to the components.
After having a synth tech look at it on my end, here’s the status:
Several capacitors as well as the 7805 voltage regulator have been replaced.
Voltage 5v and 12v rails power stable and routing correctly
LCD screen gets power but no text activity
Will need further CPU / EEPROM troubleshooting and diagnosis to get it working.
Unit is missing a few knobs, will need 2-3 tact switches replaced
Will ship well packed via UPS Ground
Given the status of the unit this item is sold as described / as-is and sale is final.
Hope this can be brought back to life and have a second go at things.
