The Sanyo DCA 1500X is an audio decoder and amplifier. While it's designed to process rear channels for quadraphonic (4-channel) sound, it's also a sweet-sounding standalone stereo amplifier, as you can hear. According to your friend and mine "the internet": Audio enthusiasts often use it as a standalone stereo amplifier or a surround-sound decoder. It features 60 watts of RMS power, matrix/discrete switching modes, and built-in controls for tone and balance.
I've never used it in quad mode, but a going-through suggests everything's in tip-top shape. And cosmetics-wise, it's hard to imagine this unit looking any nicer! I won't say "mint" as there are some micro dings and whatnot, but this thing seriously looks like it just walked off the showroom floor in 1971!
