Silvertone 1457 Electric Guitar w/ Amp-in-Case (1960s)
Vintage Danelectro-built Silvertone 1457 in the classic red finish with the double cut Masonite/Poplar body construction. Original lipstick pickups, stacked concentric controls, and the full amp-in-case setup are all intact.
The case amp has been professionally serviced: pots cleaned, filter caps replaced, and a modern grounded power cord installed for safer operation. All original parts including the original metal nut and the removed amp components are included in the case.
The guitar plays well and is structurally solid. A plastic replacement nut is currently installed, cut cleanly and stable. Neck, frets, and electronics function as expected for a mid '60s Silvertone.
