This one's hard to let go, but a new project is pulling me toward a different setup, so here we are.

This is a Pork Pie Percussion USA Custom 5-piece shell pack in their Blue Sparkle finish. These drums are handmade in Canoga Park, California — Bill Detamore builds every one of them himself, cuts the bearing edges by hand, and signs the inside of every drum. They are not a mass-produced kit. If you know Pork Pie, you already know what you're looking at.

This kit has been my studio workhorse and occasional live rig for years. It has been babied — always transported in padded cases, never thrown in a van, never left in a cold garage. The wrap is near flawless. The only wear is minor hoop rash on the bass drum kick hoop, which is just what happens when a pedal lives there. No damage to the wood, no cracks, no issues.

A full set of padded drum bags is included — one for every drum. These are the bags the kit has lived in, and they're in good shape.

It is a loud, thunderous kit. The 24" x 17” bass drum moves air in a way that smaller kicks just don't. Under stage lights, the blue sparkle absolutely turns heads — I've had more conversations about this kit than I can count.

What's included: 24"x17” bass drum, 9x13" rack tom, 10x14" rack tom, 16" floor tom, 18" floor tom, all heads (Evans bass drum reso with the Pork Pie pig logo, Remo batter heads on toms), full set of padded drum bags for every drum.
