The CMC Effects Marvel Overdrive is a highly sought-after boutique clone of the discontinued Ramble FX Marvel Drive. Designed to perfectly emulate a vintage Marshall Plexi amplifier, it nails the "cranked British amp" sound with high headroom, a touch-sensitive dynamic response, and an authentic, thundering rock crunch.
The Marvel Overdrive uses 100% JFET circuitry to simulate vacuum tube gain stages, mimicking the famous "jumped channel" trick used on vintage four-input Marshall amplifiers.
9V/18V Toggle: Features a built-in switchable voltage toggle. Switching to 18V delivers more volume, increased headroom, and a sharper, more aggressive attack.
