This super cool baritone started with an unfinished body and neck that had been fashioned sometime in the late 1950’s.
We made a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, cleaned up the original neck and body and then went with a baritone scale length for that Duane Eddy/Southern California Surf and Hot-Rod vibe. Added modern/old style Danelectro parts and a couple old radio knobs that fit flush to pickguard. Finally, the Pelham cool blue finish, shown off to great effect by a custom-made white/black/white pickguard that completes this wonderful instrument.
