Revox A-77 MK III - Dark gray

This is a fully recapped Revox A-77 MK III deck in good working order and appearance. It plays and records without issues and were continuously tested for couple tapes per day for several days.

It was a fully recapped unit when I got it. Potential damaged capacitors (and all trimmers) were all replaced: from control board to switch board, from PSU board to speed control board, including capacitors for motors and all electrolytic capacitors in seven (7) boards for audio path.

My added service was to solve the issue of the speed control board which can only play at 7 1/2 tape speed, it cannot play at 3 3/4 tape speed. I did upgrade the malfunctioned speed control board with a good board of the MK 4 model (with new ICs, new capacitors and rectifiers, see photo: the right one is the new). This new board is an IC-controlled board which can give the deck a more stable speed at both 7 1/2 and 3 3/4 speeds.
In addition, several light bulbs (for power indicator and VU meter) were replaced, breaks checked and adjusted, new counter belt installed. Pots and contacts were deoxited.

In overall, the unit looks good even with marks and signs of normal use and age (inside and outside). No missing parts. There is a small crack at the top right corner and it was fixed.
Power cord and one (1) 10.5 inch Revox take up reel will be included.
