This Gibson L6 didn’t just get customized — it got resurrected from the scrapyard of forgotten guitars and transformed into a snarling, stage-ready animal. Stripped down, reimagined, and rebuilt with grit and metal, “The Junkyard Dog” is equal parts blues brute and rock renegade.

 Specs & Mods:

• Base Guitar: Gibson L6, 1974/75 era

• Pickups: Dual humbuckers — brutal and articulate, voiced for snarling mids and punchy lows

• Bigsby B5 Vibrato: Installed for full-on growl, with buttery action and warble control

• Custom Control Plate: Hand-cut diamond plate aluminum — because plastic covers are for poodles, not junkyard dogs

• Body Finish:

• Relic treatment with burn-through exposure on front and back

• Industrial “bare wood & black burst” vibe

• Knobs & Switches: Modern metal knobs, positioned for easy reach and punchy switching

• Custom Switch Tip: Just enough flair to bark orders from the fretboard

 Back Side:

• Cleaned and sealed natural wood back with worn comfort contouring

• Rear cavity covers replaced/retained for functionality without gloss

• Shows its age with pride — like an old fighter who still wins
