The Gibson ES-355 has long been a favorite among musicians. We are proud to introduce the new Futura ES-355—a stunning, modern interpretation of the legendary design that first hit the market in 1958. The Futura ES-355 is a semi-hollowbody model featuring a solid maple sustain block and a weight-relief chamber for enhanced sustain and reduced feedback. As a result, the guitar feels light and comfortable in the hands, making it a joy to play. It features a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and a LockTone Stopbar tailpiece for excellent intonation and increased sustain, while Posi-Lok strap buttons securely fasten the strap without the need for additional hardware. The mahogany neck features a comfortable, fast-playing Modern C profile and is topped with a bound ebony fingerboard, 22 medium-jumbo stainless steel frets, and Super-400-style split-block pearloid inlays. The fingerboard also boasts a compound radius ranging from 10 to 14 inches, making both chording and string bending feel equally effortless. The 5-ply bound Kalamazoo headstock is equipped with locking Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Graph Tech nut, and—crafted from mother-of-pearl—both the Epiphone logo and large Custom Split-Diamond inlays.

The tone of the Futura ES-355 is generated by two new Epiphone ProBucker Ignite humbucking pickups, which deliver a powerful signal to the amplifier whenever needed while still retaining their clarity and definition. Push/pull Volume and Tone controls offer coil-splitting and phase options, thereby expanding the instrument's sonic versatility. The Futura ES-355 is available in two exciting ChromaShift finishes that shimmer in different colors depending on the viewing angle: Firestorm Shift and Dragonfly Shift—and both know how to shine, both on camera and on stage. Whether you are looking for a high-quality instrument with a modern aesthetic or a versatile marvel with numerous tonal options, the Futura ES-355 is an excellent choice. Get yours today and take your content, your recordings, your live performances, and your artistic expression to the next level.
