Hopf 4/4 Vintage Violin w/Case

• Make/model: Hopf Vintage 4/4 Violin
• Length: 14"
• Case: Includes Wooden case in rough shape where the "Tolex" wrap is pealing and fraying all throughout/ there is a fair amount of exposed wood and the lower bout of the case's lid is lifting with some separation. The insides are nice and clean but the lining is coming off the wood. The lid closes well and the clasps close as expected so this will add a layer of protection in transit.

• Condition: This is a gorgeous vintage Violin that could probably have its own movie about its travels! There have been repairs made to the body's sides, so you can see a different piece of wood inlayed with the rest. The body shows signs of age throughout including a darker color to parts of the wood, scratches and scrapes pretty much everywhere you look, mainly along the edges, and there is more sign of repair at the heel including some adhesive residue. The back shows heavy scratches and scrapes, but nothing structural here, just surface level. The neck shows light play wear, but nothing that would hinder playability. The fingerboard looks good and is free of any major blemishes. The pegbox and scroll are in good condition as well with nothing I'd consider egregious. This is a great violin, but because this is a preowned instrument there may be a blemish I failed to notice, so please check out photos to verify condition.
