Gibson ES-335 1962 - Cherry Stoptail reworked at Gibson...... This guitar is a real 1962 Gibson certified by Gibson. This guitar is an Awesome Gibson Player ES 335 !!! The board, Frets and some binding was replaced at the gibson factory. Also some body cracks repaired and touched up.

Theres two pages of stuff you can see that totals to over 5K. The only original 1962 parts are the knobs, pickguard and maybe the pots? everything else is new repro parts. The neck has been completly resprayed but I don't see any signs of a neck break even when under a black lite. Partial stamp of serial number on headstock is very difficult to see or make out but typically can see some ink stamp under refinish. Serial number has been documented by Gibson in the documents.

Half the front of the body has been buffed. What you get is a great playing and sounding 1962 335 with most changed parts.

The pickups are original PAF Gibson Humbuckers rewound by Rolph. A copy of documents from Gibson and Rolph will be included please look at pictures as they are part of my description.
