The API 500VPR is the industry-standard 10-slot, 3U rackmountable chassis designed to house and power VPR-approved 500-series modules. Known for its rugged steel construction and bulletproof reliability, it allows audio engineers to build a completely customized modular signal chain of preamps, EQs, and compressors in a single 19-inch equipment rack

The API L200PS supplies the power for both the 10 space 500VPR rack, and the 12 space L200R 200 series rack. Capable of powering ten API 500 series modules (or ten VPR-compliant modules), it delivers 1.4 amps of power to symmetrical +/- 16 volt rails. Featuring a totally linear design, its power is free of any artifacts which can arise out of switch-mode power supplies. Complete with current limiting and short-circuit protection, the L200PS provides consistently reliable, clean and quiet power.

The API 512c is a legendary, single-channel 500 Series microphone, line, and instrument preamplifier renowned for its punchy, aggressive mid-forward tone and high-headroom performance. Hand-assembled and faithful to the classic circuit designs of API founder Saul Walker, it relies on the iconic 2520 operational amplifier and proprietary transformers to deliver the definitive "American" analog sound. It is widely considered an industry standard for tracking transient-heavy sources like drums, electric guitars, and bass.
