A faithful reissue of the 325 Capri outfitted with a factory-installed Bigsby B5 vibrato, trio of Toaster Top pickups, and gloss Mapleglo finish, this 325V59 has been augmented with a Sorkin-style compensated aluminum Bowtie bridge, just like John Lennon’s iconic ‘58 Capri.

Naturally resonant via its semi-hollow construction, this short scale Rickenbacker model truly captures the classic jangle and percussive rhythm familiar to any Beatles fan, outfitted with the original trio of “high output” Toaster Top single coils. Weighing 6lbs 12oz, this 325V59 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 11-49 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

There are four small cleanly doweled and touched-up trapeze tailpiece mounting holes, mirroring how Lennon’s guitar would present when he modded it with the Bigsby B5 (in this case a factory vibrato), and cosmetic wear on the gloss Mapleglo finish is otherwise limited to a couple faint buckle scuffs on the back. The smooth gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
