Up for sale is a used Franz Hoffmann Etude 14" Student Viola (Model: ETUDE / 216). Exclusively distributed by Shar Music, Franz Hoffmann instruments are highly regarded by music educators, school orchestra directors, and private string teachers as one of the finest student lines available on the market today.

Unlike cheap, factory-pressed laminates that make it difficult for an advancing student to produce a proper tone, the Etude model features a hand-carved solid spruce top paired with solid maple back and sides. Finished with an attractive, responsive spirit varnish, this 14" viola punches well above its weight class—offering a warm, deep, and beautifully resonant voice that projects effortlessly.

Condition Notes: This viola is in Good Used Condition and is 100% structurally sound.

• Structure: There are NO cracks, NO open seams, and no structural repairs anywhere on the body, rib joins, neck, or pegbox. The bridge and internal soundpost are properly set up and secure.
• Cosmetics: Shows minor cosmetic signs of standard student handling and practice, including light surface scuffs and minor varnish wear along the outer edges. These traits are entirely cosmetic and do not affect the playability or rich acoustic tone of the instrument (please see all detailed photos).
• Fittings: Outfitted with premium polished ebony pegs and fingerboard for reliable tuning stability, along with a composite fine-tuner tailpiece that allows students or teachers to make quick, precise adjustments on the fly.
