This beautiful 1978 Jazz bass has been in my possession since 2005. It has the normal amount of wear and tear of an instrument that has been played for almost 50 years. It has that unmistakable Jazz Bass growl and punch. The neck feels amazing and it's quite easy on the eyes to boot.
The bass plays and sound great. It has zero issues with its playability, electronics or tone. The only reason I listed it as ”good” are due to a couple of details worth mentioning, including a ding on the back of the neck (around the 5th fret, see photo). The other is the neck plate is a 4 screw bolt on (replacing the original 3 bolt on Fender plate, which I never recieved). This makes the neck actually sturdier but could impact its collectibility (if that's important for you).
