(Fender) Jazz Bass upgrade wiring Harness, loaded control plate, blend

The Xblend is a revolutionary drop-in replacement wiring kit for the (Fender) Jazz Bass.

It features a superior blend system and can even blend the pickups in series: seamlessly transitioning from standard single coil to a thick humbucker sound!

This doubles the range of sounds available on the Jazz Bass and makes the already versatile Jazz Bass a true all-rounder.

With the standard knobs on the Fender Jazz Bass, it is not that simple to mix the pickups together, which can make finding sweet spots a hassle.

The standard blend potentiometers are often not much help here either, as all the tonal variation is crammed around the center click of the blend potentiometer.

This kit ensures that the pickups can be blended together very easily and subtly and in unique new ways fattening up the JB sound to be able to compete with soapbar humbucker loaded basses while simultaniously retaining the Jazz Bass growl.

Mini pickup toggle detemines which pickup is master and whis is on the blend pot.

The circuitry was developed for Xander Vrienten and Jett Rebel and extensively reviewed by Luthier Peter Boekholt in 'De Bassist' (Dutch bass magazine) and by Bassist Lars Lehmann on the German Bonedo platform:
