Super rad Ovation Magnum I bass! For fans of Kim Gordon and Jah Wobble.
- Recently set up by the fine folks at Third Coast Guitars here in Chicago, and it's got a fresh set of LaBella long-scale flatwounds on there.
- While there, they put a shim in the neck pocket to help bring the action down (which is hard to do with this bridge), and it's been a dream!
- It has a few nicks and dings (note the wear where the fretboard meets the back of the neck).
- There's what looks like a deep scratch in one of the tuners, but the tuner still functions perfectly.
- This still has the foam in the mute (and is functional), though the foam is a little hard and may warrant eventual replacement.
- Only other thing to note is some resonant rattling in the neck pickup that I've noticed on other models of these I've played before. Definitely more noticeable when played un-amplified.
Will ship in the original hardshell case (which is beat up and has a weird handle situation), but local pickup in Chicago is always encouraged!
