CAREFULLY READ ITEM DESCRIPTION AND TERMS OF SALE. Thanks—
ITEM DESCRIPTION: For sale is this early 1977 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe in natural finish that was routed long ago for full-size humbuckers; making it a Standard conversion. Considering its age, it is in very nice overall condition. A DiMarzio Super D II was installed in the bridge position and a PAF black label was installed in the neck position. Over the years the tuners were changed to Schallers and the old screw holes where filled, the strap buttons were changed to Schaller strap lock buttons, and at one time this axe likely had a mini-toggle for coil splitting that has had the hole plugged and sealed. The frets are in good condition with fairly even wear across the fretboard. The guitar shows various signs of use, from a few dings and typical scratches, to small scrapes and wear around the edgework. The original case likely disintegrated a bit and has been replaced by a very nice Epiphone case. In fact, the cases used from 1968 through the late 1970s up until the introduction of the plastic chainsaw protector cases, weren't very protecting nor very durable. As such, this case, albeit not original, provides a better and more protected fit. It has seen some action (see photos), shows scuffs, and has lost the bothersome rear buckle (likely removed on purpose); nevertheless, this case holds the guitar secure and safe. The guitar will be boxed up tight to protect it while in transit.
