Trader Bobs Music LLC, offers a 1956 Conn Director model 18B, "Shooting Star", Bb Trumpet. Tri tone, brass lacquer, nickel, and the famous "Coprion" bell. Shooting Stars design on the bell. Conn USA. Serial number, 587170, 1956 according to Conn Loyalist website. Seamless "Coprion" bell assembly. Dual bore sizes, starting at .406", on the main tuning slide, and expanding to .438". Conns famous "Crysteel" piston valves, nickel plate over brass, in great shape, freshly oiled and smooth operation. The valve compression is good, all three of the small tuning slides "pop" nicely. The finish has a lot of blemishing, the whole horn needs polishing. It did not come in a case. A few very minor dents. PLAYER right out of the box.
