"302" Hoops: These are a signature of the Brooklyn series. They are 3mm thick, double-flanged steel hoops that mimic the ones Gretsch used until the mid-1950s. They are known for providing a more "open" sound compared to the heavy die-cast hoops found on many other professional sets.

this is a gorgeous set with an additional snare perfect for a jazz not only jazz. I use it for R&B.
