Here is a 2011 Duesenberg Senior 52 Goldtop with the factory Duesenberg Little Toaster pickup, a less commonly encountered configuration than the familiar Domino P-90 version.
The Senior 52 is one of Duesenberg’s more elegantly stripped-down designs: chambered single-cut construction, an arched maple top, wraparound bridge, and a single-pickup layout that keeps the instrument direct without making it one-dimensional. The factory Little Toaster gives this example a particularly clear, open voice, with the brightness and note definition of a lower-output mini-humbucker while retaining plenty of body.
Also included are an additional Duesenberg Domino P-90 pickup and the original Duesenberg hardshell case.

Full Description
The Duesenberg Senior 52 takes the familiar ingredients of a chambered mahogany single-cut and filters them through Duesenberg’s own design language.
The guitar features a chambered mahogany body with an arched solid maple top, set mahogany neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard, and Duesenberg wraparound bridge. The chambered construction gives the guitar a lively, resonant feel while keeping the overall design remarkably simple.
What makes this particular Senior 52 especially interesting is its factory-installed Duesenberg Little Toaster. The Little Toaster is an Alnico mini-humbucker with relatively low output and a balanced frequency response. Duesenberg describes it as having a bright, clear voice with strong overtone reproduction and some of the brilliance associated with single-coil pickups.
That character suits the Senior 52 particularly well. It gives the guitar plenty of clarity, chime, and note separation while retaining the fuller response of a humbucking pickup.
Despite the single-pickup layout, the guitar offers more tonal range than it initially appears to. A 3-way sound selector works alongside the volume and tone controls, allowing several useful variations from the same pickup.
The tone control uses Duesenberg’s fast-action Speed Pot, making it especially easy to make quick tonal changes while playing.
The hardware is another distinctive part of the Senior 52 design. This example features nickel Duesenberg Z-Tuners, nickel control knobs, a Duesenberg wraparound bridge, and the characteristic banjo-style armrest.
An additional Duesenberg Domino P-90 is also included. This gives the next owner another genuine Duesenberg pickup option should they ever want to explore the more traditional Senior 52 configuration.
The original Duesenberg hardshell case is included as well.

Very Good overall condition.
The guitar has been played and shows normal signs of careful handling and use, while remaining very clean overall.
