VZ Custom Guitars T-Style / Partscaster 2018 Navy Blue

This VZ Custom Guitars T-Style features an alder body with a Dark Navy Blue finish, a made in USA Musikraft quartersawn maple neck with a “C” profile and Kluson Deluxe vintage style tuners, a Wenge fretboard with 21 frets, a 9.5” radius, and dot inlays, and this comes equipped with a set of David Allen Pickups P-51 Mustang Humbuckers with an Orange drop capacitor and push/pull on both knobs. 

Your classic example of someone doing the guitar God’s work. For us that aren’t meant for building or putting guitars together, VZ Custom Guitars is…. a must!!!! Fender is trying to take away these options because they know what a lot of us know….. These play better. 

It plays great as would be expected but what got my ears up is the pickups. In a world of a million options, I always take notice when I start playing and have an “oh wow” moment. Even more, the push/pull option is genuinely good. The tone is a big change and feels useful. So often push/pull equates to muddy attempt at a single coil. Not these. 

From what I can find online, he finishes his own bodies. The original neck was also a Musikraft, but with a rosewood fretboard. The original owner must have wanted a change. The guitar was initially made in 2018 for someone in Albany, Oregon. From there I believe he had it on consignment at a local shop in Corvallis where a family bought it. The daughter is on to new things and that’s when I show up and here we are. 

The condition is Very Good. General play wear, some dings, scratching. You can see the body has taken some hits against some doorways lol. Looks like there was a sticker on the back near the backplate. Tried to get it fully removed but that last little bit is tough. Frets are in fantastic shape, no pitting. No choking out, no dead notes. Check pics. Has been cleaned up, frets polished, fretboard cleaned, new strings. D’Addario 10-46.
