2001'58 Les Paul Standard Custom Authentic Reissue in Butterscotch with Nickel Hardware.

Plenty of case candy in original hard case; no Certificate of Authenticity, but an enquiry to Gibson yielded: "I searched 811108 in my database and found CS-A58FBSNH1A, a 1958 Les Paul Standard Custom Authentic Reissue in Butterscotch with Nickel Hardware. This shipped from us 8/8/2001 to a US dealer."

2001 falls squarely into the "good wood" era of Gibson Custom builds. This guitar shows normal play wear with light dings and slight buckle rash (see pictures)—but the top is perfect, and absolutely gorgeous. The flame grain seems to hover above the straight grain, and the eye can shift focus back and forth... the effect is hypnotic, like looking at some kind of optical illusion.

Custom Authentic finish, with lightly aged nickel hardware.

Currently has non-stock bridge and strap pegs, but originals are included.

Weight: 9.5 lbs.
