For sale is this 1969 Gibson DOVE serial number is 538813 with natural spruce top and rare brown stained maple back and sides. Top shows much finish checking from original owner. Top at the Treble side of neck has worn through the finish as shown in photo. Original wooden insert is present. bridge is not lifting pickguard shows no wear. Guitar was refretted in c.2007. Frets show little if any wear. Mahogany neck is straight and it plays in tune with no buzzing. Headstock has a small circular damage from a bump. DOVE truss rod cover appears original. back had some finish scratched. Binding and inlays are all original and intact and have yellowed with age beautiful.
