Late 90's (probably 1998) Guild D25 AB (Antique Burst) in very good condition with original case. Some dings and minor scratches as seen in the photos. No cracks or repairs. Action at the 12th fret is about 2.3 mm on the low E with room on the saddle. No electronics. Truss rod is functional. Just set up with new strings and action adjusted to a comfortable medium height.
The D25 is an American-made dreadnought acoustic guitar built at the historic Westerly, Rhode Island factory. The "AB" designation stands for Antique Burst, a distinctive and rich sunburst finish options offered by Guild during the late 1990s. Known affectionately as a "workingman's dreadnought," this particular era of the D-25 represents the pinnacle of late-Westerly craftsmanship right before the factory closed in 2001.
Top Wood: Solid Sitka Spruce, which provides punchy projection and clarity.
Back Construction: Arched Laminated Mahogany. Guild's famous press-cured arched back design eliminates the need for internal back bracing. It acts like a loudspeaker cone to maximize volume, sustain, and projection.
Sides Wood: Solid Mahogany.
Neck: Mahogany with a comfortable, modern slim-to-medium C profile and a standard 1 11/16" nut width.
Scale Length: 25.5 inches.
