This 2018 Fender Player Stratocaster HSS with factory Floyd Rose Special tremolo combines classic Strat feel and tone with modern performance upgrades geared toward rock and high-gain players. Finished in a sharp 3-Color Sunburst with a maple neck and pau ferro fingerboard, this Strat features an HSS pickup configuration and a recessed Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo system for aggressive vibrato work and excellent tuning stability.

Unlike a standard Player Strat, this factory Floyd Rose model features a flatter 12” fingerboard radius, locking nut, and modern performance-oriented feel that makes it ideal for shred, hard rock, metal, fusion, and modern lead playing while still delivering unmistakable Fender Strat tone and comfort.

The bridge Player Series Alnico 2 humbucker delivers thicker, higher-output tones while the Player Series Alnico 5 single coils maintain the classic Strat sparkle and articulation. Position 2 provides the quacky split-style Strat tones players love while still giving the versatility of an HSS setup.
