This can do PC (program change) and CC (continuous control) messages, but also, one press can be assigned to multiple messages. One switch can also have an "A" and "B" function, like a toggle on/off. Pairing with a phone or tablet is easy.

This will also send MIDI over its USB connection to devices that support direct USB MIDI control. Check with your device *first*.
