Always wanted a '60's hand wired Fender, but can't stomach the $3000+ price tag?

This newly built, hand-wired AA1164 Blackface Princeton Reverb clone features premium components, including Heyboer transformers, Mojotone cabinetry, 12” WGS ET65 speaker. Built on a rigid FR4 board (rather than flexy fiberboard), it includes tailored upgrades like screen grid resistors, a bias adjustment pot, and 1-ohm cathode resistors for easy biasing.

This amp sounds fantastic and offers true vintage tone, and the reliability to last for decades. Unfortunately modern amps, even "hand wired" offered by the name brands are not built to the very high standards of this amp.

Key Features & Components:

Circuit: Authentic AA1164 Blackface circuit, voiced for 12" speaker with improvements (reduced tremolo speed, screen grid resistors, rectifier protection diodes, adjustable bias pot).

Components: Vishay/Mallory capacitors, MOD electrolytic caps & reverb tank, Belton sockets, JJ tubes, Alpha pots, Switchcraft jacks, Carling switches.

Construction: Top quality workmanship Hand-wired FR4 eyelet board, not a kit build.

Speaker: 12” WGS ET65 for a fuller, bigger sound than the original 10".

Cabinet: Lacquered tweed by Mojotone.

Extras: Included foot switch (for reverb and tremolo).

Why This Build:
This amp offers a very low-noise floor, premium alternative to modern PCB amps, similar in quality to well known custom boutique builds. The use of high-wattage metal film resistors and a sturdy FR4 board, rather than traditional, flimsy fiberboard, results in a more reliable and quiet amplifier.
