Info/Features:
Beautiful and Great sounding guitar with a Brazilian rosewood body. No major work done on it, no neck reset, the original nut was upgraded with a brass nut years ago, but has now been replaced with a new Martin bone nut, see photos. Endpin replaced with a jack, for a pickup system. There is no pickup in this guitar now. It had a GHS Microphone Pickup. Upgraded tuners, original tuners not available. Non-original compensated saddle, ebony bridge pins. Gold strap button installed on back of guitar, as to avoid hanging guitar by a strap attached to headstock, as was the practice in the 60s. Guitar plays and sounds great, quite loud for its parlor body. This guitar has not had a neck reset or a re-fret, strung now with martin 11|52 Phosphor Bronze Strings. A non-original Hardshell case will be included pictures to follow.
This guitar will be professionally packed, shipped and insured through UPS to ensure safe shipment.
For a 60 year old guitar, it is in overall very good cosmetic condition, (see all photos and the video.) Includes non-original Hardshell case. Not sure what the price is or would be if Martin were to offer a similar guitar in a custom shop model.
Great guitar for a collection or a professional player.
