The Fender Hammertone Distortion is a budget-friendly, highly versatile analog stompbox that delivers everything from light overdrive to heavy, saturated crunch. Designed to be a reliable "workhorse" pedal, it excels at intuitive tone shaping without breaking the bank. 

• Fender-Designed Circuit: An all-analog distortion circuit that is exceptionally low-noise and highly responsive to your playing dynamics.
• Active 2-Band EQ: Features Bass and Treble controls that allow for up to  of boost or cut for massive tonal flexibility.
• Top-Mounted Jacks: The input and output jacks are placed at the top of the pedal, making it highly pedalboard-friendly and easy to integrate into tight rigs.
• True-Bypass: Ensures your signal remains completely unaffected and transparent when the pedal is switched off. 

Controls

• Level: Controls the overall volume output of the pedal.
• Gain: Adjusts the amount of distortion or grit infused into your signal.
• Bass & Treble: Active controls that let you sculpt the low and high ends of your guitar tone. 

Internal Tweaks For deeper tone shaping, the pedal houses two internal trim-pots accessible with a small flathead screwdriver: 

• High-Pass Filter: Helps tame or add a boost to high frequencies (around ) to eliminate fizziness.
• Mid-Range Trim Pot: Allows you to cut or boost the midrange frequencies to help your guitar cut through a band mix.
