Tokai Production Jazz Bass Style Neck MIJ w/ Maple Fretboard

This is a Tokai production bass neck with a maple fretboard from the Tokai parts factory in Japan. The bound fretboard and block inlays indicates this one was in production to be a Jazz Bass style neck. This bass does not include a nut or a set of tuners and neck pocket screws have also not been pre-drilled. The neck is slotted for frets but there have not yet been frets installed.

This neck shows minor cosmetic wear that includes light surface scratches and scuffs along the back of the neck. The back also feels like it is unfinished and some of the lacquer on the fretboard is also starting to bubble up, particularly around the inlays. The truss rod turns with plenty of room in both directions.
