Up for sale is a 2017 G6136-55 Vintage Select Edition '55 Falcon Hollow Body Master Built by Stephen Stern at the USA Gretsch custom Shop. The electronics have been play tested and are working as they should. This Master Built Gretsch is based on the earliest White Falcon™ guitars of the mid '50s, this model is as close to the original as you can get short of having a time machine.

This one came to us needing an internal brace repair and was professionally repaired at our shop by one of our techs. The 9 year old Nitro lacquer finish has stared to check on the top and back as a vintage instrument would, but still in excellent condition. This being a Master Built custom shop guitar was built start to finish by Stephen Stern and the feel and tone are noteworthy.

Features include period-correct body and neck construction, wiring and electronics. The single-coil DynaSonic™ pickups are faithfully recreated by the USA Seymour Duncan® Custom Shop, and the Falcon's signature eye-catching trim is preserved. It it fitted with 22 Jescar Vintage (45085) frets, has a 9.45" fingerboard radius, 1.6875" (42.86 mm) nut width and a 25.5" scale length.

Absolutely beautiful guitar, slightly aged after 9 years, sounds fabulous and ready to be enjoyed and played. There may be some very light surface scratching but it is in overall excellent condition. Comes with the original vintage-style speckled-gray case ( has a light scuff on the top and a very small 1/4" cosmetic wear on the top case edge ), COA, Gretsch paperwork, key chain, Custom Shop hang tag and polish cloth.

Shipping Policy
Free ground shipping within the continental USA. Items under $20 will have a $9.95 shipping charge. We do not offer international shipping.
We cannot ship to a PO Box. Orders require a physical mailing address to be processed.
All orders over $500 will be shipped with a direct Signature Requirement to ensure it is received. If the signature requirement is refused, the customer will assume responsibility for the package once it reaches the delivery address.
