Minty brand new condition, fully refurbished and refinished by National, for a nice price (These start at over $5k these days). The beautiful all Mahogany Baritone Tricone is special; 27" scale neck meets the body at the 13th fret (on a 12 fret body shape), a bit wider nut, with fatter gauge strings (.068-.016) made for tuning low.

Baritones have been my preferred slide guitar voice since National first started making them around 1998, I tune mine to Open Bb (like Open D, just lower) or Open Eb (like Open G, just lower). This is a beautiful range of sound that could be the answer for you. And it’s 3lbs lighter in weight than it’s metal counterpart.

A wonderful innovation from National, the M1 Tricone has a Mahogany body, Mahogany finish, and beautifully matching painted metal coverplate. Cool grill soundports, t-bridge goes to the three resonator cones. Ivoroid-bound Ebony fingerboard with dot inlays, Mahogany neck. Gold and Red National Shield logo on a slotted headstock. Punch and power and infinite tricone sustain, and you are bathed in the warmth of a wood bodied acoustic guitar. This is a very versatile instrument. Loads of power and richness to the sound.

And the Baritone scale on this one makes it sound even bigger. Huge sounding! Fantastic.
