Project Tube Amp for Repair.

Cool little vintage Alamo 2525 tube amp made in San Antonio, Texas. Definitely has the look — black sparkle covering, funky minimalist control panel, and enough retro charm to make your modern boutique amp feel insecure.

This one is NON-FUNCTIONING / PROJECT / PARTS ONLY. All tubes light up, but the amp currently only produces a healthy hum with a little crackle here and there. No real guitar signal passing that I could get. I have not attempted any repairs or deep troubleshooting.

Tube lineup appears to be:

  • 12AU6
  • 50C5
  • 35W4

Original speaker and transformers appear present. Interior looks surprisingly clean and unmolested for its age. Would make a great restoration candidate, studio prop, or donor for a fun little low-watt tube project.

Or… hear me out… cut the baffle, cram a 10” speaker in there, and create the world’s angriest tiny practice amp. I believe in you.

Cosmetically it shows normal vintage wear, scuffs, and age throughout. Please check photos carefully for condition details.

Sold AS-IS due to age and non-working condition. No returns on vintage electronics/project gear.
