Personal Thoughts:
This is a very cool Special and one of the most fun guitars Gibson make when they get the recipe right. The double cut shape already gives it a bit more attitude and upper fret access than the single cut version, while the 1960 spec keeps the neck slimmer and a little easier for players who do not want the bigger late-’50s carve. The all-mahogany build and twin P-90 setup is the heart of the appeal though, because that combination always gives these guitars a really lively, punchy and immediate voice. TV Yellow is of course the perfect finish for a Special like this, and the limited croc skin Gibson case just adds another nice touch that makes it feel a bit more special overall. A very strong Custom Shop piece and exactly the sort of guitar that tends to feel more exciting in the hand than the simplicity of the spec sheet suggests.

Condition Report:
Excellent condition. There is some minor red staining under the headstock, along with only light signs of use otherwise. Overall it remains a very clean and very tidy example.
