Danelectro returned in 1998 with reissues inspired by their original classic instruments The Dan O Cool expands on that design approach with vintage inspired features

Vintage Features

• The guitar features the Full Bell headstock first introduced in 1954 along with a Rosewood saddle bridge based on the original 1954 design
• It also includes Skate Key tuners from 1958 and a U3 pickguard inspired by the 1955 design

Lipstick Pickups

• The guitar includes 1950s style Lipstick pickups with increased output
• The bridge pickup is 30 percent hotter and the neck pickup is 20 percent hotter than vintage specifications

Retro Spirit Modern Practicality

• An adjustable saddle bridge is included and uses the same three screw mounting pattern as the Rosewood bridge
• Each guitar includes an eight page reproduction of a 1950s Danelectro catalogue
