Vox V864 wah in great working condition, but has some cosmetic wear and a few repairs. It has a new potentiometer, battery snap, and footswitch, so the common failure points on these have all been addressed. It has a non-original bottom plate from a modern crybaby. Without the serial number on the bottom or the original pot, it’s difficult to date it for certain, but the TDK 5103 inductor, carbon comp resistors, and numbering on the circuit board all seem to suggest this is a ’70s Thomas Organ Co era wah.
The new pot is smooth and quiet, but the rack and pinion system could use a little of whatever grease it is they use on those. Whoever replaced the pot cleaned the old grease off the rack, and I don't have the proper grease to replace it, so the plastic parts creak a bit as you sweep the treadle. It's unnoticeable at volume, but could be a bit annoying for a bedroom player, so I wanted to disclose it.
