It is with a heavy heart that I sell my beloved Studio Standard…
This is an amazing guitar and is a rare model, one which I as a dots and binding fan, wish Gibson would reissue. this Guitar has lived life and has been played extensively!
The guitar plays amazing with super low action (my preference) and sounds amazing. The pickups could use wax potting as they’ve squealed under super high gain at times.
The original knobs come in the case and one plastic pick up ring was replaced after the old one cracked.
The story on the finish wear goes that a large in girth blues player played this guitar and it resting on him made it wear in that way but I don’t know. the finish is original and there is checking here and there.
This is a vintage guitar and has quirks and wear. everything functions and it has been an absolute dream! sold as is, please ask all questions, the pictures are a part of the description. always account for a set up as my personal preferences could differ from yours and guitars can need a tune up after shipping across regions!
