- Although Sabian is renown for their innovation, calling hi hats "Regular Hats" is ummmmm...welll....rather uninspired!
- Bottom Line is these are Sabian's late 80s/90s answer to Zildjian K Hi Hats. That's what the HHs are - but with NEW BEAT weights and they really ARE Hand Hammered, unlike Zildjians.

- These are DARKER sounding than Ks and have a subtle complexity because they really are Hand Hammered.
- Weighing in at a GOLDILOCKS 795 grams for the Top Cymbal, and 1195 grams for the Bottom Cymbal, these Regular Hats play like very DARK Low Pitched, very crisp K New Beats. That’s the vibe.
- They have all the warm, glowing tone that catapulted the HH Series to stardom 45 years ago. And being 30 years old they offer a subtle dry stick attack that is wonderfully articulate and refined.
- Dark. Lower pitched. Crisp. Articulate. Low profile. Great chick. Very warm but with that inimitable SHIMMER. Responsive. Controlled at low volumes. Penetrating at louder volumes.
