Description
This General Vintage Tone guitar is a work of art! Built by Oscar Diaz, the body and neck are made to the specs of a 1954/56 Guitar. The body is a beautiful swamp ash body and has been shaped and relic'd to replicate a 1954-1956 Double cut with a Two-tone sunburst finish. The finish looks amazing and has checking all over it.
What really makes this Guitar special is the Custom wound Pickups that Oscar Diaz made this guitar around. The pickup winding was all done with NOS period correct material along with NOS vintage Alnico 5 magnets (info on included and pictured spec sheets).
Needless to say, these pickups produce the sound and tone that everyone is chasing for.
The rest of the hardware on the guitar has been aged and gives the guitar an authentic look and feel.
The neck is very comfortable and is also relic'd to look and feel the part of a true vintage guitar.
There is minimal play wear on this guitar.
This guitar is everything that you would ever expect the perfect old guitar to be without the price tag of a pre-CBS
It will be shipped with its paperwork and COA's on the Guitar and pickup set.
