A rare, early Custom Shop offering (the Custom Shop was officially founded in ‘93), this 1954 spec LPB4 has only been produced sporadically and in small production runs over the past few decades. This Les Paul boasts mahogany construction throughout, including the vintage-spec carved mahogany top, with a substantial “baseball bat”-worthly neck profile carve.

At 10lbs 8ooz, this Les Paul is well balanced on a strap and acoustically resonant, offering a powerful and authoritative tone unplugged that translates well through the "Staple" Alnico V neck pickup and P-90 bridge pickup.
