XSPRO 19" 4U early 2000's - Black formica/brushed aluminum over 3/8" plywood

Although this rack case is not a hand-made item, I guess it could be referred to as a hybrid in that the A/C electrical power box for accepting other items in the rack assy plus an electronic forced-air dual cooling fans mounted in the very back cover which are USB powered with a thermostatically controlled module to adjust the setting at which the controlled cooling fans power up and come on to pull air flow in from the b ottom of the rack enclosure and then on up throughout the rack and warm air exhausted through the black plastic vent mounted in the top side of the rack unit. The air flow works really well when not sitting on carpet, but I will include a small rectangular piece of 3/8" plywood for the entire unit to sit upright on which allows the bottom cover with rubber cushioned feet to sit firmly and allow the fans to work as designed. fans could be removed and reversed for an exhaust pull out of the rack, if that air low is desired. Rack has small Speakon quick connectors mounted in the side to connect speaker cables to rack if a power amp is an item installed within the rack rails. This rack is built like a tank but is not a lightweight! Definitely ATA certified.
