An antique, circa 1910 Mrs. A. M. Virgil silent portable suitcase practice piano
keyboard, designed for improving fingering technique, muscle tone and memory.
This keyboard features a rare 6 octave breadth (73 keys) and was most likely
purchased for use with classical compositions (most A.M. Virgils are 3 or 4 octaves).
All keys are in working condition and maintain springiness; however, some keys do
not achieve correctly levelness with the rest of the keyboard and will require adjustments.
There are screws at the top at each end of the case, in order to access the mechanisms.
This keyboard remains just as I had purchased it and has not been cleaned, nor restored.
The case is in fair condition, with some scuffing and unravelling of the covering.
