DW Collectors Series 12pc Drum Set - Scott Travis

DW Collectors Series 12pc Drum Set featuring bass drums used by Scott Travis of Judas Priest

This is a special one. Here's the story:

Scott Travis had been using these 23x22 bass drums on tour with Judas Priest and decided to switch to using 22" bass drums. He gave these bass drums back to DW, who then contacted us and said "Hey, would you like to buy Scott's Bass Drums?" My response was "Of course! But make the other drums too so we can make it a kit identical to what he was using on that tour!" (This was the British Steel Anniversary Tour.)

This kit has been on display in the DCP Museum, and we are now offering it up for sale! To clarify, ONLY THE BASS DRUMS were used by Scott. The other drums are new, built to the same spec of the other drums he was using at the time.

We have priced this at what the current sell price would be if this kit were to be custom-ordered. This is quite a piece of history, with a huge sound!

The rack toms are Pure Maple VLT shells with reinforcement rings, while the bass drums and floor toms are X shells.
