Made in Mexico in the 2000s, this Fender Blues Junior II pairs the legendary, gig-ready 15-watt platform with highly desirable factory upgrades, featuring a beautiful lacquered tweed covering and a premium, Italian-made Jensen speaker. This specific unit features the cream/tan circuit board, which is favored by players for its warm, vintaged-voiced mid-range and organic tube breakup compared to the newer versions. The amp also retains its USA-made spring reverb tank which provides exceptionally lush and ambient decay. Under the hood, it features a premium all-tube signal path powered by three 12AX7 preamp tubes and a matched pair of two EL84 power tubes. This pushes 15 watts of classic all-tube power into its upgraded 12" Jensen C12N ceramic speaker, renowned for its bell-like chime, tight bass response, and organic midrange that compresses beautifully under heavy saturation. Cosmetically, this amplifier is in good condition, showcasing an authentic, naturally relic'd aesthetic that gives it genuine vintage mojo. The lacquered tweed covering has darkened beautifully over time, with some light staining and minor scuffing along the edges and corners from normal use. While the original leather handle is included, a new genuine Fender handle has been added as the original is significantly worn. The brown mesh grille cloth is in excellent shape, showing some light age-related thread separation but free of any significant rips, punctures, or sagging (See photos provided).
