I never thought the day would come that I'd put this Nash up for sale. But I'm also not one to hold on to something that I'm not using. I don't play like I used to, with kids and work and new hobbies and interests taking up my time. It's time to move this one.

What struck me most when I bought this guitar brand new from Guitar Riot is its acoustic resonance and acoustic tone. You can hear a sweet midrange unplugged that I've not heard in other guitars. It doesn't translate to a weird, off-balanced midrange when plugged in, though. The Lollars and the guitar's natural resonance and tone are a perfect marriage. This guitar, for me, beat out a '64 Anniverary Closet Classic Fender Custom Shop strat with Josefina Campos handwired pickups for a reason. There is not a bad tone in it. All 5 positions are usable and unique. The bridge pickup is strong and reason enough to own the guitar. The volume and tone pots are usable acorss their entire sweeps. The combination of positions and usable knobs give this guitar limitless tones. Dammit I'm talking myself into keeping it. I may pull this ad. Forgive me if I do.

Anyway, if you don't know Nash, do some research on them. They have been putting out some stunning guitars over the last few years. They are now making the bodies and necks themselves, and they feel, look, and play like what they are: small-team-built custom shop guitars. With Fender starting to go after the independents, I wonder if a) these smaller shops will stay in business or b) if people will reject Fender and turn more towards these indie shops who are making better guitars at the same prices. This Nash kills anything under the Custom Shop line, and it will beat many of those CS strats, too. You won't be disappointed.

  • 9.5 inch radius.
  • Slab Rosewood fingerboard.
  • Thin nitro all over.
  • Stock Lollar pickups and wiring, beautifully done.
  • Case and all candy included (Nash has stopped including the guitar cable, but I still have this one and it was never used)
  • Beautiful transparent sunburst finish with a nautral relic
  • Beautiful ash body
  • Fairly lightweight for a strat at 7.5 lbs

There is no damage or wear that was not done by Nash. I rarely play, and when I got this, I owned about 13 guitars, so I didn't play it much. Trust that this will be like new.
