Marshall JTM45 2245 30w Plexi Tube Head
Our users rate Reverb
If you’re after that classic early Marshall tone, the JTM45 Reissue is pretty much the blueprint.
Loaded with 30 watts of all-tube power, this head delivers the warm, dynamic response that made the original JTM45 such a staple of ’60s rock. Big, round cleans, thick mids, and that smooth natural breakup that gets richer the harder you push it.
A big part of the magic comes from the GZ34 tube rectifier, giving the amp that soft compression and sag players chase in vintage Marshalls. It’s incredibly touch responsive too—roll your volume back for articulate cleans or dig in and get that chewy, harmonically rich overdrive without needing a pedal.
Whether you’re pairing it with a 4x12 for full vintage punch or using it in the studio, the JTM45 has that unmistakable feel and tone that just sits perfectly in a mix.
One of those amps that instantly reminds you why the classics are still the classics.
