Listing Update: This is a "CIJ" 2005 Fender Jaguar Bass (Crafted in Japan) w/ Soft-Shell Case.
After an exchange with a visitor to this listing who brought a fact to my attention, I did a quick review of the "made in" vs. "crafted in" debate, I learned that late '90s to mid 2000s CIJ Fenders were made by Tokai and are considered to be a higher standard of guitar. After 2007, Fender partnered with Kanda Shokai and Yamano Gakki to build their own Fender plants in Japan. Take that as you will. Regardless, I always loved the quality of this bass.
Purchased new in 2005 and used regularly until about a decade ago. As such, there are some light scratches and a few very small dings (on the back) and near the bridge, which I have done my best to photograph. All are minor, cosmetic flaws, reasonable and customary with the basses age and use. Works well and sounds great. Also included are three (3) additional pickguards, fresh 9V battery AND a soft-shell gig bag case. Feel free to send any questions my way. One owner. Bass and case are sold AS-IS.
