Listing Update: This is a "CIJ" 2005 Fender Jaguar Bass (Crafted in Japan) w/ Soft-Shell Case.

After an exchange with a visitor to this listing who brought a fact to my attention, I did a quick review of the "made in" vs. "crafted in" debate, I learned that late '90s to mid 2000s CIJ Fenders were made by Tokai and are considered to be a higher standard of guitar. After 2007, Fender partnered with Kanda Shokai and Yamano Gakki to build their own Fender plants in Japan. Take that as you will. Regardless, I always loved the quality of this bass.

Purchased new in 2005 and used regularly until about a decade ago. As such, there are some light scratches and a few very small dings (on the back) and near the bridge, which I have done my best to photograph. All are minor, cosmetic flaws, reasonable and customary with the basses age and use. Works well and sounds great.
