The Yamaha SA-2100 was introduced around 1985 and available until 1989. This one was built in Japan in 1985 and is still in terrific shape for its age. Please note the missing splinter of wood on the headstock. It has an ES-335 style body like the SA-1100 model but with laminated beech and birch top and back, w-b-w-binding, bound ebony fretboard with split block inlays, 1-23/32" nut width, 24-3/4" scale length, & 2 covered Alnico humbucking pickups
