Good Day Everyone.

I have for sale a beautiful historical piece. This example is a 1968 Gibson B-25 Model. This is the later version of the well-known LG-3. Both were X-Braced and different from their counterparts. Instead of the more box tone you get from LG0 OR LG1 the X bracing allowed the guitar top to vibrate more and produce a more desirable tone.

☆NOTE☆ This is an older acoustic. I listed it as VGC when in my opinion this is an excellent condition guitar. Read description below and see pictures for reference. Reason being is that this Gibson is in beautiful shape for its age but also due to it being near 6 decades old and shows typical signs of use and age, I will list it as VGC. Some collectors expect a museum piece with tags and this is not that guitar. However it is a guitar that does not compromise anywhere in sound and build quality. Please look at other listing that are described as "excellent" and you will see they have been modified or have repairs and cracks. No such thing with this piece.

Beautiful natural finish has aged well. Nice dark natural top with an almost like dark cherry wine finish on the sides. Im actually surprise they could get a stain like that on a porous material like Mahogany.

This beauty strums like a light-cannon and you can comfortably pluck individual notes well. I play jazz up and down its entire neck. It might need a neck reset in the next ten years but doubt it.

-comes with the Victoria case that Gibson sold along with it. Had to do some research on this one. It did look similar to the ones sold around this era. Case is in decent condition and works as intended.

VIDEO WILL BE ADDED SOON.

CONDITION:

-ALL ORIGINAL. I do not buy junk. Most people replace the adjustable bridge. This one is the original and is still in tact with the guitar body. There is hardly a gap as shown in the picture .

-Speaking of gaps. The original pickguard is all there and has not peeled up. This thick pickguard is a lovely shape and gives this guitar a total different look than what you see these days!

-The inner bracing is all there and none are loose. Minor glue spillout from original bracing consistent with other areas around internal bracing. (See picture where "B-25 NATURAL" is stamped.

-The ORIGINAL bridge plate and hardware are sound with very little wear. No need to replace any time.

-Frets have plenty of life. No digs in the rosewood fretboard.

-Finish Checking throughout shows its age.

I have put the whole guitar under a blacklight. No spots of refinish or repairs.

-Speaking of repairs. There are ZERO cracks. Again, I do not buy junk.

-Normal faint blemishes from regular use and its age. Only two noticeable spots to me may concern a collector but they are very MINOR issues compared to the examples you see on Reverb.com

1. On the backside there is a superficial mark where it looks like something may have scratched the backside. It has not dug into the wood and is in my opinion just a scuff. I dont worry about it because it just adds character.

2. On the fretboard edge when you look down and see the fretboard dot indicators there is two spots where the laquer has flaked off. This is totally normal. The rest of the fingerboard is still very well finished.
